Electrifying Day at Event Tech Live and the Event Tech Awards
Once again we were invited to exhibit at Event Tech Live, Europe’s first conference and exhibition for event professionals with an interest in technology. ETL is the event of the year for event tech professionals as it provides a unique platform to learn about this ever expanding sector and as a result it is an absolute pleasure to be a part of. With over 60 exhibitors set up in the quirky Old Truman Brewery, the atmosphere was buzzing.

We kickstarted the day applying the finishing touches to our stand, putting up our pop up banners and they looked amazing (if we do say so ourselves). We were raring to go!
The attendees started rolling in and praise for Glisser was free flowing with lots of interesting questions being asked. Konduko a lead generation solution tool was particularly useful as it allowed our stand visitors to buzz into our stand as a sort of ‘digital handshake’, enabling us to send further information about our product to eager customers.
Throughout the day we energised attendees with our ‘Glisser Energy’ drinks, one guest even asked when they were hitting stores (it appears we may have another business venture to consider).
We distributed our brand-new, hot off the press ‘London Venue Wi-Fi Guides’ that went down like a treat with Simpli-Fi UK tweeting:
'Thank you @glisser what a great idea and helpful Guide.'
Asides from being an exhibitor, our software was being used on the main stage throughout the day to drive participation and engagement. Glisser interacted with 347 attendees and 97 questions were asked which enhanced the informative content.
The Event Tech Awards
After a great day speaking to tech and events enthusiasts and generating new leads, it was off to the Event Tech Awards for us!
We were nominated for the Best Use of Technology for Interaction and the Best Use of Audience Participation along with our brilliant client CIPD. We are both thankful enough to say that we were victorious winning:
Best Use of Audience Participation 2016
We also had the great success of a member of our team, Rebecca Tobi, who we must congratulate on winning the event tech Rising Star award.
All in all, both the Event Tech Live and the Event Tech Awards were great for Glisser – we can’t wait to do it all over again next year. Bring on #ETL17…
Event software integrations are key to building the ultimate event technology stack. In this blog post, we’ll look at the three main types of integrations and how they can be leveraged to drive event success.
